Silly Silhouettes

This is a project done in my class called silly silhouette. Meant to help students get used to anatomy and drawing practice while forcing challenges on us to help us think outside of the box.

With any good project it started with online research, as well as a bit of my own real life research. I found an amazing website that gave me a tone of models to reference that helped a lot.
As for my IRL research, I found the most common silhouette in the world... A Shadow! I had a bunch of differnet people show of their best moves and poses to aid in my silhouette making they did not let me down.
Finally it was time to draw. the challenges were to some only using one line, some while they were in action or acting dynamically, some were only drawn 3 minutes, some only done with curves, some with done with a different material then a pencil, some done on a big surface like a white board, and finally some done with an Exacto-knife. and here were the results!
I'm quite happy with how these turned out and recommend this exercise to any one looking to I'm prove their anatomy or figure drawing.
